Observation. Observing emotions in order to experience them but not react to them. Reaction. Reacting in a way we are programed, without observing what other choices we might have. Awareness is the before, during and after that allows us to see things more clearly. It is also what I lost when I over reacted. Here is the raw version of how that went for me this week as I observe my feelings and follow them where they lead me.
